First Braid ATL CAMP
Spring is near and First Braid ATL Camp is one opportunity your scholar won’t want to miss! First Braid Camp offers an intimate environment for ages 7-17 to learn the skill of braiding and how to properly care for natural hair.
Our camps and classes are designed to give your scholar hands on-training, designed with all the fundamentals needed to get them started in becoming more confident in themselves while learning to care for their hair texture naturally. We introduce the technical and creative skills for braiding, styling and entrepreneurship. Scholars are also given the chance to earn monetary incentives throughout the week based on their commitment and progress during camp.
You will Learn:
• Intro to Natural Hair Care
• Intro to Individuals/Twists Singles
• Intro to Cornrows,
• Holistic Health (Impacts food have on your hair health)
• Product Knowledge/ Product lab (scholars create their own hair products)
• History of Braiding
• Self Love (Texture Acceptance)
Whats Included:
• Mannequin ( Returned at end of camp) purchase option for additional $20
• Braiding Tool Kit, Workbook & T-shirt
• Five days of Camp (15-30 total hours)

For Black history month we have partnered with a few Bay Area schools with an amazing opportunity for our girls of color where they can become more connected to their history ultimately reconnecting with themselves!!! I’m excited for next months upcoming retreat!

Hair Play Day
Playdate with the little ones. Bring his or her favorite dress or dress-up clothes. Watch as they interact with a day filled with arts, snacks, hair, and friends. Includes crowning ceremony where your child will be beautified with a style and crown placed on their heads. There will also be a professional picture taken right in time for the holidays.
